Pre-engineered metal building
Vision Building Group delivered two ground-up facilities for 8th & Roast on a tight Grandview Avenue property in Nashville, supporting the coffee company’s growth over approximately three years.
Phase 1 — Roasting Facility & Training Lab: At 2637 B Grandview Avenue, VBG constructed a pre-engineered metal building that brought coffee production and educational uses together. The facility also hosts community classes.
Phase 2 — Packaging & Distribution: At 2637 C Grandview Avenue, VBG constructed a ground-up packaging and distribution facility beside the roastery and training lab, adding space for the next stage of the business. This recently completed phase is the subject of VBG’s Construction Intelligence case study on managing unforeseen foundation-area water.

The building combines 13 residential units above ground-floor commercial space, bringing two distinct uses together on a compact South Maney Avenue property. The project demonstrates VBG’s experience coordinating residential and commercial construction within one building while supporting a development close to the city’s historic public square.

Vision Building Group constructed an approximately 20,000-square-foot pre-engineered metal building for Southern Creations Landscaping at 9158 Franklin Road in Murfreesboro. The ground-up project serves a Middle Tennessee landscape design/build company working with residential and commercial clients. Its scale adds a substantial commercial facility to VBG’s portfolio and demonstrates experience building for an established trade-based business with a broad range of landscape services.

Unexpected site water appeared during foundation work at 8&R’s new Nashville operations facility. VBG developed a revised water-management solution that protected the building and kept the unforeseen work within the project contingency.
